Default crappy hydrometer, high salinity

so i was using the crappy plastic hydrometer, which i thought was working well. but my buddy brought over his new refractometer, which showed my salinity to be at 1.027 [ i know high]. now here is the question, since its been up that high my KH is at 13.8 my Mg is at 1200 and Ca is at 450-500 closer to 500 i think. what is going to be the best way to lower my KH? will it do it on its own now that the salinity is down to 1.024. i stopped adding my b-ionic. anything else i should do or just wait. on a positive note i now know why my sps werent happy.

_________

29 gal/ 10gal refugium with more things then I have space to list.
with a 7gal sea horse tank slowly in the works

Its not that high , But if you want to lower it in a 29 gal ? Just pull a gallon of saltwater out and pour fresh back in..

1.026 is nsw, dKH and Ca will lower on its own from the corals. Mg should be bumped up to around 1400-1500. KH or dKH, 9 dKH with 500 Ca is the correct ratio. 20Ca: 1meq/L or 2.8dKH.

rid yourself of the plastic floater, a glass hydro is a cheap and close to accurate way to go if you dont want to spend the money on a refracto
