Default Carbon Change Indicator
Have often wondered when and how often to change carbon in sump.

Best way I have found is wait till wife (who has a super-sensitive nose) starts to complain living room is starting to smell a bit "reefy" ---

Change carbon and smell disappears almost immediately.
