Default calcium/alkalinity supplements

currently i am dosing a two part calc/alk supplement to my tank, i was curious to know if it is a better solution to dose kalkwasser instead? do you need a dosing pump and/or calcium reactor to supplement the kalkwasser? or can the mix be added directly to a part of the tank in a large flow area? all information or comments would be appreciated, thank you in advance.
