Default Bubbles on Surface

Hey guys, just a quick question of no major importance: Added PhosZorb and Carbon to my canister filter today. A few hours later, I've noticed an abundance of bubbles all over the surface of my water. They don't seem to be doing any harm, but I was just wondering if anyone could explain how this has occured? All my params seem okay. Just no idea what's going on.

PS: I know canister filters are a 0/10 for reefs, but I am waiting on the money to buy a new built-in overflow tank that I can hook up to a sump... In the mean time I work with what I have.

That could be that air is trapped inside the canister and is coming out little by little as the water flow is passing through. Luna
