I'm going to be buying the API Reef Master Test Kit Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Reef Master Test Kit

and plan on buying some Salifert test kits. I remember people say they don't use two of the test kits from the API so instead they use two of the Salifert. Do you know which ones they are.

I rarely used the Phosphate kit but you may if you have an issue. It just doesn't measure low enough.
Salifert I like the magnesium kit.

I bought the API reefmaster because I needed a phosphate testand was hoping the calcium test would be easier to use than the salifert kit I already had.Though the calsium test really isnt any easier or quicker to use and the phosphate test is hard to results at low levels, I think its a good kit for the money since your getting all four tests ror about the same cost as one salifert kit.If your doing sps I would go with salifert for better accuracy.

i'll eventually be getting sps but for for a while it's softies and lps. I just need something because i'm out. I'll be ordering the stuff tomorrow :D

And one more thing. Since i really need a test kit and will be concentrating on softies/lps for a while, would it be ok if i hold off on the salifrt, as right now with tight money i'm only getting the things i really need right now
