| You decide. What will be my next fish? I have a 8 month old 55 gallon reef tank with only two fish, a coral beauty and a chromi. (45# LR, 45#LS) I've had these two for 6 months without getting any other fish. I told myself that I was going to wait until everything else was done. For now I'm content. I have my tank, lights, refugium up and running (thanks to the DIY gods), a RODI (thank you Christmas), a phosphate reactor (birthday of course! ) wavemaker timer and other nice little do-hickies.
So now at long last it is finally time for that third fish. (It's been 6 months people. I deserve a frickin' medal for that) I have done plenty of research for that new special resident. So it is to be expected that after 6 months of staring wistfully at all the pretty fish at the LFS , researching what would do well in my tank , and pretty much just having plenty of time to make up my mind.......................
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO GET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so you guys feel free to pitch in and give me some ideas. Just so long as it looks good, can stay in a 55, and won't harass my CB and chromi (and the cleaner shrimp, snails, blue legs, and (non)sand sifting serpent star )
Let's see what you come up with.
_________
55gal,216 watt Tek T5, 45#LR, 45#LS, 3 maxi-jet 900's on a natural wavemaker timer, phosban reactor, 5 gal fuge (built out of standard 10 gallon tank) with chaeto and feather caulerpa, sealife systems protein skimmer, wet/dry, 3 blue/green chromi, 1 skunk cleaner shrimp, 1 coral beauty,1 scopas tang, 2 false percs, 5 mexican turbo snails, assorted dwarf blue leg hermits, astrea snails, and nerite snails |

| How about a pistol shrimp and a watchman goby. I love mine. Its neat to watch them work together as a team and the pistol popping is funny to me. |

| Asking us what fish to get is like asking alcoholic in liquor store what he wants most...
Sky is limit...
Just keep eye on size, space requirements and compatility...
Every tank needs a sixline... _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)
12 Gallon NanoCube - 24w stock PC 50/50 light "...nothing good ever happens fast in a reef tank, only bad things happen fast..."

As Omard stated, "Just keep eye on size, space requirements and compatility". Great advice! |
