| Maroon Clowns are famous for "designer striping" - unpredictabably shaped bars and/or bars reduced to dots and patches.
Much more then other clowns.
Look at any group of maroons and you will usually see ones with different stripes or bars.
Some oddly striped maroons will be sold for far more then normally colored ones.
Looks like yours has unusual spots instead of stripe on tail. _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)

| sorry i'll put up a photo that shows what i'm curious about better.it has a defined bright orange outline.i did'nt notice that the last stripe was'nt solid till you mentioned the 2 dots and its very dark.darker than i've ever seen.maybe omard is right about it just being a typical marroon that has different marks. |

| ok so i got what i think is a good pic, i would also like to know if the markings on it mean that it has some sort of disease. i have never seen these types of markings on any of the maroon's i have looked up.
also, i think its swim bladder may be deflating because it keeps swimming upside down. |

| I recently watched a show on Discovery, about giving spiders different drugs (Lsd, Thc, Alcohol, etc) to see what effect it would have on web-building.
They did build some pretty bizzare creations.
Maybe some is getting in tank.
Wonder if anyone has thought of doing to fish to see effect. Swimming upside down just might be one --- Of course effect on owner could certainly result in seeing the above. |
