what kind of angel fish are safe for reef tanks

    i saw the reef tank of the month had two beautiful angel fish and i was wondering what kind of angel fish are reef safe

    Some dwarf angels. They are still a bit of a role of the dice. Some can behave and then get nippy. I've had really good luck with Coral Beauties. I am 2 for 2. The last one nipped on some Montipora Digitata initially then decided it didn't like it I guess and never touched it again. It was a model citizen. But then one day I found it half sucked into my Tunze pump. :p

    I've heard that Pyramid Angels are strict herbivores, and thus safe around coral. Most of the others are a strict no-no, but as Matt said, dwarf or pygmy angels are sometimes safe ... they are very hit or miss.
