| Re: What about tangs? thanks 007,
I need a moderater to let me know if this is too big a bio load for my 55 gal and my P.M. HOT -1 to take care of or if thats just too many fish in a reef tank so it would have adverse effects on my corals! And I'm just dreaming again |

| Re: What about tangs? A small yellow tang would be the maximum addition in my opinion. I have only seven fish in my 80 gallon. Three Chromis would be eight total fish.
The yellow tang will outgrow the 55 gallon tank in time. As long as your willing to upgrade or find it a new home that should be fine. _________ Just tryin to recreate God's perfection in a glass bowl. 20 Gallon Reef W/Live Rock, mated pair of Maroon Clowns, Softies, 110 watts PC 10,000k lighting, and skimmer. http://www.3reef.com/uploads/1craig400.jpg |

| Re: What about tangs? i have read a fair bit on tangs, they being one of my more favorite SW fish and i was hoping on setting up a tang tank in the near future, and multiple sources seem to agree that the Zebrosoma genus is the most incompatible. *Specifically, these sources tend to say that having more than one Zebrosoma in all but a very large tank is not a good idea.
