Do you think I could get a yellow tang to help with macro?
It grows like crazy all over the place.
And let me through this out there maybe 3 green chromis on top of that?
What do ya think? big bio load huh?

nice post, really gonna miss my tang. Have to get rid of it because I can't upgrade my tank at the present time. Still trying to find an adequate replacement, but at the moment it is doing really well and has an insane appetite.

thanks 007,
I need a moderater to let me know if this is too big a bio load for my 55 gal and my P.M. HOT -1 to take care of or if thats just too many fish in a reef tank so it would have adverse effects on my corals! And I'm just dreaming again

A small yellow tang would be the maximum addition in my opinion. I have only seven fish in my 80 gallon. Three Chromis would be eight total fish.

The yellow tang will outgrow the 55 gallon tank in time. As long as your willing to upgrade or find it a new home that should be fine.

i have read a fair bit on tangs, they being one of my more favorite SW fish and i was hoping on setting up a tang tank in the near future, and multiple sources seem to agree that the Zebrosoma genus is the most incompatible. *Specifically, these sources tend to say that having more than one Zebrosoma in all but a very large tank is not a good idea.
