| weird clowns ok so i had 2 pairs of clowns in my 55 gallon tank, 2 black saddle back, and 2 false percs, they have never fought which i thought was really weird, but recently both the males dided of ich, and i always thougt they got along great, but the 2 females hang out together now, i havent seen them apart since both of their husbands died  but is that normal??? |

| I would imagine that none of them were mated to begin with, and now you only have 2, one should become a male and they should become a mated pair.
But alas these things can not be forced! _________ |

Aww poor clowns! =(
Maybe the females plotted it since only the males had died... >.>

| lol, the black saddlebacks were defenatly a pair, the other do false percs, were still little and they paired up, but i beleive that they had not become a mated pair like the others, is it possible for a black saddle back clown, and a tank-raised false perc clown to become a mated pair???? |

| Not sure on that count, but I've always been under the impression that a non-gender may become either male of female, and a male may become a female, but once a female, permanently a female, not sure if that helps. |
