| Are we torturing our fish? I just though of it...
Does the noise of the pumps and other stuff rattling in the tank drive them crazy? _________ Tank Specs:
55 Gallon Mixed Reef

| I made mine @earmuffs@ to cut down on the noise!!!! Just kidding.. I don't know, I hope not. I guess they would grow used to the noises and not really pay attention to them after a while.. Hopefully!! _________ My Tank Thread...... | One thing that I'll never forget when I started SCUBA diving, is how surprisingly LOUD a place the ocean is. You'd think that 60 feet down in a calm sea is a quiet place. Not on your life! The ocean is probably far noisier than our tanks are.

I am sure that fish have a sense of direction and 'place' that is driven by their ability to 'sense' the Earths magnetic field. Their was a discussion about this and the 'mental' effect the magnetic fields can have of marine organisms and if I can find it and pics of the 'solution' I will post it.
