Default Tired Fish?

My Coris Wrasse has a strange habit I have not observed in other fish.

Only comes out when lights first turn on...about 0730 and then disappears around 11:00. Am assuming he has gone to sleep somewhere and even tank feeding after that does not entice him to come out.

But while out, is extremely busy and active, pushing around rubble I have put in front of tank for him to "play" with and digging around in sand looking for good things to eat. Then after couple hours disappears for day.

Must wear self out when up.

Anyone else ever have fish like this? ---

Strange.

My sand sifting goby....he sometimes lays on the rocks...for hours and hours....then he comes back to life and starts getting mouthfuls of sand......another thing I've noticed about him...he picks at the LR....all the time...I have no idea what he's getting from it. I thought they got their food from the sand or when fed.
