Re: Sunburst Anthias Feeding I give my anthias live pinhead crickets that i feed with spirulina and other fish foods.....for the less fanatic try some mysis, ocean plankton, or brine.....they require advanced attention if not already aquarium conditioned......usually. _________ Yes, tiny has an 11" legspan......

Re: Sunburst Anthias Feeding They eat macro plankton in the wild....blood worms are a very poor substitue....no nutrion especially if they are alive. The live ones arent fed at the stores or the distributors....by the time you get them they are barley living. Frozen are a bit better but still have are far from planktonic. Iwould shoot for some frozen ocean plankton or mysis....power fed pinhead crickets yield the best results IME.

Re: Sunburst Anthias Feeding You can order them offline.....they are tiny...only a few mm long and look very similar to copepods and other li "bugs" they would naturally eat. If you really want to look into it by doing a google search for live crickets...there are a few companies that do weekly small shipments for one price so you dont have to buy 500 at a time.....if thats a bit much i would go for some frozen ocean plankton.
