I would skip the dottyback and gramma as they can be territorial and aggressive and have also been known to attack decorative shrimp.

I would only put a mated pair of cardinal fish in a tank as members of the same sex will kill each other off until only one mated pair remains. Also, I currently have misfortune of having a pajama cardinal that has gotten big enough to eat my cleaner shrimp so keep that in mind.

firefish tend to be peaceful and pretty much mind their own business. How about you get a mandarin dragonet. That's the calmest and most peaceful fish you will ever come across! He bothers no one! He's always on one important mission.... finding food!

Firefish are peaceful but if you have more than one and they're not a mated pair, they will not remain so Same goes for the mandarin. Also, mandarins will not tolerate any other dragonette so if you already have, say, a scooter blenny, you're just asking for trouble. You also need a very mature tank to keep any dragonette well fed.

My tank is not mature enough for any type of mandarin and I even have doubts about any gobies. Though I really would like a yellow watchman. I think I will probably go with the firefish .....and then just load up on corals.
