Default stocking

ok so i ened to have a plan on what is going to be stocked for my 135 tank.

in my 55 i already have 2 chromis.
2 false percs.
2 black saddleback clowns.
blue tang.
yellow tang.
blue damsel.

i think i am going to give away the blue damsel though.

ok so for inverts:
cleaner shrimp
hermits
perppermint shrimp
and misc. snails

for the 135 i am planning on have 5 cleaner shrimp instead of one.
6 peppermint shrimp instead of one. and 2 blood shrimp. (FIre shrimp)

so for the 135 i want another chromis.
a green mandarin eventually.

deciding tang wise.
i want a powder blue.
desjardini sailfin,
and a clown tang

so i am planning on designing my sump so that alot of oxygen will be in the tank.

any idea fish wise and invert wise. coral wise even.

I still think that many tangs is unhealthy in that size tank but hey, you like most of us will have to find this out on your own. I just think it's sad that this will happen at the expense of a life.

yeah i just listed my options......i dont think i am going to get that many. but if i do. I did like an hour or 2 of reasearch. and have come up with some designs of how to fix the problems with having that many tangs......but i have talked to the person i was telling you earlier........with all the tangs and he told me some advice.....even i think he ahs too many tangs.....i think he has 4 or 5 large yellow tangs....a 10" tang that i dont even know what kind it is........ 3 purple tangs.....one is 9 or 10" as well.....its just like crazy! ! ! ! ! !

and he only has a 180.

so i figured as long as i get some small i might be ok.
and an lfs has a 1000 tank and a different one has a 600 gallon tank. and they both offer to trade in very large tangs for the same tang but as a smaller version. .......so that might be ok. but i am still debating on even going over a tang limit of 3.

it all just depends on cause and affect......cause i am the kind of person who thinks its really messed up to take somehting out of the ocean and have it die. so i will def. be careful with what i do.

Asking other Reef Keepers on what to stock tank with is like asking a bunch of addicts drug of choice.

We all have our favorites...in time you will also.

Pick carefully. Don't stock with allot initially. Not only will your biofilter not handle it, but will restrict options of adding something you really like later.

Only advice I would give is, wrasses, wrasses or wrasses.

Have fun and good luck!
