So I have a 10 gallon tank that just finished the cycle. About 15 pounds of live rock and 20 pounds of live sand are in there. Just running some carbon for the time being. Any good suggestions for stocking? I really don't have any certain specifications for what I want to keep, although a goby pistol shrimp pair sounds very intriguing. All suggestions appreciated; thanks in advance.

goby/pistol and 1 blue/green chromis. Got to have at least 1 swimming fish.

Sounds good, though I'd like something other than a chromis. In my opinion they're just too... bland, I guess. I never really liked them.

What about a neon goby? They will burrow a bit but are also active swimmers. They stay small so are still appropriately sized for a 10g.

Basically any of these fish will work. Just find something you like that won't get killed by the pistol srhimp snapping at them. lol.

For now I'm thinking a neon goby and some other sort of watchman maybe?

no bashing cuz i asked steve :p a pair of clowns would be sweet in a nano, most sites say 20+ but really Occ and perc. clowns tend to stay in the same 5-10 gallons of the tank espcially if they are hosting, but thats JMO, and look up The Saltwater Guy's thread on 10 gallon stocking
