Ok, so i'm a little worried about my clownfish pair (false percs). I'm 90% sure that they are a mated pair; there is one that is obviously larger than the other and is obviously dominant. The other one small and does the "submissive twitch", They are often found together in the tank.
But...I have seen the female (or what I presume to be the female) act semi aggressively towards the male; taking a few nips here and there but never causing any damage. Until today; she took a small chunk out of his right pectoral fin. He seems like he's swimming ok and everything. But it is still concerning...poor little guy.
She bit him while I was vacuuming the gravel and doing a water change. Could the stress have caused her to act aggressively toward him? Could they not be a mated pair after all?
I'm also concerned about adding any other kind of fish to the tank seeing as she has been acting somewhat aggressive (or very, i don't really know the difference).
Any advice would be appreciated
