| Snowflake Eel Added to Nano in November
5-6 inches
Very shy. Usually only see out and about when after lights off.
What does it feed on?
Have never seen eat...
Appears fat and in good health when I do see it. - has made burrow under large rock and only peeks head out now and then during day. - Never when other fish feeding. _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)

| Omard, their has to be pods etc. for it to feed on as a small eel. However, as it gets bigger, you will want to target feed it with Mysis shrimp, silversides, clam, squid etc. to ensure that it doesn't starve!
Nice pick-up as they are interesting, beautiful and inexpensive! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F. | OK!...Thanks
Plenty of pods in tank so should do fine.
You are right, very inexpensive for such a cool fish. Ideal for Nano. Will move to main tank when it gets larger.
(Cost $10 at LFS) |

| Keep an eye on it for signs of starvation, evident as it grows and food becomes scarce as a result! |

| my friend has one of them - it lives under rock in his tank and very rarely come out to play.
He always comes out at feeding time, he eat krill. Gobbles it right up - he's had for about 6 months and has doubled in size!
Hope this helps!
Not an inexpensive fish here in the uk tho - about 30 pounds, i think thats just over 60 dollers _________ |

| I saw one at the LPS HI,
They had one at the LPS and he said it would love to eat my shrimps, be it peppermint or skunk shrimp, that scared me away, my shrimp are one of my favorite critters.
They are cute os cute they even try to groom my hands when I clean the glass not a bit afraid .

My theory is always to buy small, either fish or coral (frag) and let it grow at own natural rate in my tank. It may be a very long time.
Am in this hobby for long term so time to maturity does not matter to me.
And in many cases, is going to be way longer then I plan to hang around on this large dirt ball. |
