| saltwaterfish.com any good? Where to o They have some pretty good prices on fish. $75 minimum order I found out, but $18 for a yellow tang especially is a good deal. Thinking about a yellow and regal tang, a porcupine puffer and a couple other small ones.
Where should I order from? The LFS's here in Dallas (Dallas North Aquarium) are charging a LOT! $80 for a small regal tang! Found another that is $45 for the same size. |

Yeah, I agree... good store is worth a little more. Plus the Dallas North Aquarium is less than a mile away from me. They do have drazy prices on some though (regal/hippo) tang. Taking advantage of their demand for sure. I do need to find more LFS. Is there a place to find a listing besides the yellow pages? |

Thanks for the link Jay. They also have pretty good prices. One thing about mose of these fish ... the ones I see at the fish store are almost all exactly the same. I don't think that ordering one sight unseen is all that bad in that case. I would expect that they would send only fish in good condition as well because they offer a guarantee and there's no way they would make it through that after shipping if they weren't healthy.
Anyone actually bought from a place on-line? |

| Re: saltwaterfish.com *any good? *Where to o I have bought fish from http://www.liveaquaria.com they actually sent me the wrong fish. I would definitely prefer to see the fish before I buy it. The one thing I can't justify is paying $7/lb for LR.

I always call the online store to get a feel for the operation and talk to the owner or no go. _________ Just tryin to recreate God's perfection in a glass bowl. 20 Gallon Reef W/Live Rock, mated pair of Maroon Clowns, Softies, 110 watts PC 10,000k lighting, and skimmer. http://www.3reef.com/uploads/1craig400.jpg |
