| Possible New Fish!? SmugMug - The ultimate in photo sharing. Online photo albums, photo sharing, photo hosting and photo storage.
This is one nice fish with a good disposition to boot!!! A great addition to a reef tank, I am definitely looking into purchasing one or two of these for my 125 reef!!
The other nice thing about these and other Cardinalfish, is that they are mouth brooders and are easy to breed and the success rate is pretty good for these interesting and colorful reef fish!
How many of you guys have a species of Cardinalfish? _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F. | Not totally reef safe .. It will eat your crustations .. No shrimp allowed (: I have bred them well actualy they did it all by themselves , I had little to do with it (: _________ Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible (Doug Larson) |

| I have kept bangaii and pajama cardinals and like previously mentioned, they will eat your shrimp. Other than that, they're pretty peaceful, unless you get two of the same sex, then they will fight to the death. |

| Apparently the Banggai is on the endangered list because of its small native habitat and the extreme over fishing for the aquarium trade.Luckily they are easy to breed in captivity. The brits are considering a ban on wild caught imports to try and help the species.Let's hope it works. |

| Am I the only one that sees that the fish is black and SILVER!?
I'll never forget the day I noticed something sticking out of my cardinals mouth which caused me to get out of my La-Z-Boy (not an easy feat in and of itself). What I saw was my skunk cleaner's tail sticking out of the fish's mouth. I had a strange notion that I could pull it out and save it!! Boy, was I wrong |
