| Photo-trick with Clown Fish and BTA ?! Dear friends,
I was viewing pictures of clown fishes and stumbled upon this information: Quote:
Ocellaris Clownfish in a Magnifica Anemone.
This was the first day that the two clownfish actually went into the anemone although I have had both for over two months.
Research on the interweb said that it could be months, years or even never that the fish would pair up with the anemone and one forum even suggested sticking a photo of clownfish in an anemone to the side of the aquarium.
"yeah right!" I thought (with a genuine ROFL) but gave it a go last night.
I awoke this morning to find the clownfish happily bouncing around in the anemone.
So, showing clownfish photos of other clownfish in an anemone seems to work.
| My question is: does it really work ?! Has anybody tried this technique ?!

| You know, I really wouldnt be surprised if that did work. My male clownfish did not touch the anemone untill I introduced the female. She seemed to enjoy it. They are very visual creatures. If anyone is having troubles with their clowns hosting anemones....or the lack of, I think this would help them out _________ Tank Specs:
