| So i just got home the neon damsel is still doing this, i looked close and his bottom anal fin looks a bit split & tattered, could this be the start of fin rot?
what else could it be?

| His gills are opening and closeing rapidly now too, ammonia been tested with api & waterlife testkit 0ppm nitraite0ppm, any advise ??? |

It is likely damage or irritation due to high ammonia and or Nitrite levels

| i would check your Am, NO2, NO3 levels, as for the fins they are probly just getting nipped at by another fish

nitrate-0-ppm
nitrate-10-pmm
temp 80f
fins torn, rapid breathing in only one fish so fa, was not use to cycle tank that was the yellow tailed blue damsel who might i had is sweet as a nut and doing great lol... |

| Nobody bully's him, he is the daddy, king of the tank......it's got to be more than that guys, again his mouth & Gills are opening & closeing very rapidly, if it was not for this then yeah thats what i would think, will see if he deteriorates, will def buy another beauty fish... |
