| One last fish Trying to pick one last fish for my 65 Gallon Reef Tank (Torch Coral, Brain, Xenia), I already have (1) Green Chromis (1) Maroon Clown, and (1) Coral Beauty. I would prefer one at least the size of the Angel.
Problems-
1. Tangs, tank is not long enough at 36”
2. Butterfly Fish, there is one type that is reef safe, I think its Banner Fish but can not find. It looks like the Heniochus.
3. Anthias and Wrasse, no cover, and they are jumpers
4. Trigger fish, heard mixed reviews about being reef safe and also aquarium is only 36” lomg.
5. Lion Fish, mixed reviews and will eat most of my creatures.
Any good picks? I tried have my wife make the last pick to keep her involved but she is not good picking reef safe fish, and insist on a Moorish Idol, it was in Nemo!!!

| Avoid the Lion. They make a mess and eat anything smaller than them.
Trigger's are not reef safe. They see their world through their mouth. Maybe, just maybe a Niger, but you are playing with fire.
You can try a Butterfly.
I've done Tangs in smaller tanks. Stay away from the "speedy" boys. (Soho Naso etc.) Go with the Diamond shaped ones. (Yellow, Purple, Sailfin etc) Water quality is more important than length.
Good luck.

I think i also have to be careful as the angel and clown might be bullies. |

| I see no issues with anthias or a wrass. Where did you see that they are jumpers? If you have plenty of LR they will have no reason to carpet dive.
The anthias are a bit timid but a wrasse is so quick that it would work just fine with your fish who are also on the quicker more agressive side.

| I would be leary of keeping any type of Bannerfish in a reef tank, they also get fairly large about 7" for the H.diphreutes.
How about a Canary or Midas blenny. Nice fish and they will swim in the water column. Just watch out for the canary as it has a painful bite. _________ 75g reef with Nova Extreme 8 bulb HO T-5 lighting, refuge, Remora skimmer, DSB, Seio powerheads, Acro's, LPS corals, assorted zoo's & mushrooms, Yellow Tang, Maroon Clown, Blue Cleaner Goby , Cleaner, Fire and Sexy Shrimp, Coco Worm, T.Crocea Clam, Derasa Clam
