The black band means nothing. One being broader then other just doesnt hold water. Either of the two can have broad black bands. Thats just a color morph that happens. One of my friends is a clownfish breeder who owns a 11,000sqft hatchery. If you ask him what the difference is, he'll tell you the same thing I said. One is eastern pacific, one is western pacific. That is the only definitive difference between them.
