Michael, your Majestic should be fine with them. The pellets will soften up for the Angel to be able to consume it easier as well. Try holding the pellets between you finger in the water for a minute or two to allow the pellets to soften up and then release them into the water. You could also break them up in a bowl to make them smaller in size if the other method doesn't work too well.
Just be careful not to feed to much as flake and pelletized food stuff contains high nitrate and phosphates which you don't want leaching into your water!

I use the pellet food to let sink to the bottom of my tank after the lights have been off for awhile, to feed my Nassirius snails and my shrimp and Sea Stars!!! They love it! Also this way I know they are eating...I don't feed to much just enough so that I know they are eating well!!!hahaha
Just like having kids...wanting them to eat a balanced nutritious diet!!!

Ha, I do the same thing!! My crabs, and snails find the food realy fast when it hits the bottom. Sometimes the cleaner shrimp will wake up and still it, but he needs to eat too....

I bought some formula 2 flake. I stopped feeding my normal food cause of the ich outbreak, and all of the fish eat it now, my tang LOVES it.

I also use the flake food, all my fish love that stuff. I don't know if it's cuz it's new or it's just extra tasty to them.

Hey Birchell,

If you want a "green" food, try either frozen Hikari Spirulina enriched Mysis shrimp. Or, get some San Francisco Bay Brand Emerald Entree'. I've tried both frozen Formula 2 and SFBB and I like the SFBB better. It has less gel to hold it together so it breaks up easier. I find it easy enough to throw some in when I defrost my mysis and prime reef.

It's an overcrowded home with a little of everything and 5 fish. Thank good the fuge and sump were built for something bigger.
