| Is this normal? I am against keeping anemonies in captivity and think that they should be allowed to roam free. Everything in my tank apart from the yellow tang(the first addition) is cultured. Anyway I have been trying to get a suitable coral for my clowns to host, I have been looking at many xens aswell as some toadstools. I got back last night and one of my clowns is hosting the bubble coral, and im not sure the coral is keen on it. Is this normal? I have not read about it before. grateful for the comments

| It's as normal as can be expected in a captive environment. I would encourage the fish to nest elsewhere though because the bubble coral might not appreciate all the rubbing that it's going to get from the fish. The coral might adjust though so just keep an eye on things for a little while. |

| Why not consider buying an anemone that you know is a product of a split? |

| | Aiptasia Anemone | i'd suggest a larger colony of euphyllia (torch, hammer, frogspawn), the larger the colony....the less damage from the clowns buffering. _________ |

| seratonin, I have searched and cannot find anywhere that advertises captive bred anemonies. Do you know of any places. Other that that as I said I was looking at maybe a xen for it to host in. |

| You may try searching to see if you have a local marine aquarium society and become a member. Members from my local MAS sell/trade captive propagated anemone quite often.

| you may also want to check with your local fish stores.
One of mine actually started with just a few and now has a full tank. Reef Plus
Steve is the owner and only employee. If you give him an offer he can't refuse maybe you could get him to ship one.
