| Niger Triggers are dumb
Dumb dumb managed to find a couple inch gap in the lid that I leave open for the autofeeder. Now I need to figure out how to close it off while letting the autofeeder still work so no one else repeats the feat.
I liked that fish too. He had neat metallic green sheen and was always on the go.
RIP

| Will egg crate work? It amazes me how animals find a way out of the smalles holes. But heck if I was caged up capret diving may be a good gamble if you don't know what is on the other side.

| That's a good idea. Better than gluing up a mess of plex. As a matter of fact, I can probably use it over a large area instead of the plex top to promote more evaporative cooling.

| Yup. You can get some good thick stuff that is easy to use for covering. A larger fan over it fits well. Fish can't get out. Easy to feed. And family members can't knock a fan into it. (my wife knocked an entire fan into my 75gal. Then when getting it out she got electrocuted) She was pissed but the coral and fish were fine :-) However the fan was dead. |

I HOPE you meant to say your wife got shocked. If she got electrocuted, you're a single man.

| Oh yeah, I should have mentioned. Your entire tank should be served by GFCI outlets. If it's not, really consider putting one in, either yourself, or hire someone. Your safety is well worth the expense. |
