I just wanted to follow up with you fellow reffers and reeferettes! Since the purchase of my Stingray, he has acclimated very quickly to my tank and has incorporated all instincts in my tank. He combes the benthic areas of my tank in search of worms, clams, mysis shrimp and such as he works the sand like a vacuum. He readilly burries himself in the sand at night so that only his eyes appear above the sand. As soon as the lights come on and food enters the water he is swimming erratically up and down the sides of my glass tank where I can touch him as he voraciously searches for his next meal!!! I tell ya, stingrays are one cool animal that all should experience as they have a nice personality and are very different from any other underwater animal. I had some trial and error during the first couple days as it would eat the silversides(maybe they were too big or it was new to the ray) then I tried krill(again didn't except it)so went with smaller as Mysis was my next choice and he definitely loves that as he happily eats it off the bottom of my tank! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F.
