Smile New Fish on way!!!!

LFS called and said he had 3 of these inbound, and wanted to know if I wanted one (he knows me pretty well ) - could not say no to such a pretty fellow. (Ok, my tank is "over-stocked" now...am just going to have to increase water change volumns - was planning to anyway and make room for this guy. ) - 2nd fish addition in 3 years! --- going to get a good Quarantine before going in tank!!!

Great fish. Watch out at the begining as it may jump. I had one that got harrased by a 6 line wrass so much I had to get rid of it.

ouch...hopefully my sixline will be more polite. - he has only been in tank for a week and stays pretty much hidden in one corner except to come out and eat. ---

Thanks for info...will keep an eye on. My LFS is very understanding about returning fish if I have to.

Rgds,

Scott

You should be fine then.
I typically cover my tank with plexi glass when adding new fish just in case.

Yep they are pretty pricey...LFS asking $100 -- but usually he gives me 15-20% off...anyway will be most expensive "critter" I have ever invested in, and as I said before I have not purchased any fish in about 3 years, except for a $14 sixline couple of weeks ago. All things considered I think it a good investment.

Talked to LFS today...he offered to give me male/female pair for $140...I said yep! --- drun, yet another fish. If we had a contest on most fish per gallon, bet I would come close to winning - not necessarily a good thing. At least I have mostly small ones.

1 shrimp goby
2 yellow watchman gobys
1 sixline wrasse
1 coral beauty
2 blue damsels
2 humbug dascylus
2 Maroon Clowns (mature)
1 yellow tang
1 Mandarin goby
1 Hippo Tang

All but the wrasse have been in tank for over three years and I have had no nitrate problems...with these two I think I have reached limit and will have to keep close eye on water params (which I do anyway ) -

Rgds,

Scott
