| | 3reef Moderator | How about a wrasse of some sort. like a flasher or lubbocks, or Scott's fairly.
All beautiful fish that are great for swimming around

| Ummm, wrasse are beautiful but pick on peaceful fish and shrimp? My jawfish and goby were leary of the tang...don't know how they would handle a wrasse. I love angelfish but they are caution when coming into reef tanks? |

| | 3reef Moderator | I've had all the wrasses mentioned above and none of them have picked on inverts. Actually I have found that adding a swimmer like a wrasse makes other fish less fearful. I think it is because the smaller fish use the wrasse as a danger guide. If the wrasse is out swimming there must not be any danger so they come out. |

| Another possibility might be Anthias. Best in 3s or 5s with a single male. _________ Doc |

| Well I love the sixline wrasse, would it pick on my gobies? Does it need fine gravel to dig or does it swim alot? I also love the flame angel, lemonpeel angel, and I love the basselet(purple/yellow body). My thing is I want a fish that swims around because besides my clowns, the rest hang out on the bottom. Having a 55g tank with tiny fish looks so empty! |
