| Naso Tang Anyone ???? Anyone??? Hi Guys I was considering a Naso Tang for my 120 gallon reef set up you can see the other fish I have below in my list. What is the deal with the Naso is it reef safe? Aggressive? what does it like to eat? how big will she get? If anyone has one please leave me some advice. I haven't come across a fish that I was seriously interested in for a little while I just like the way they look. Usually when I like the look of a fish it turns out not to be reef safe.

Basically, if your yellow is big and mean(bigger than prospective naso) than I wouldn't do it. If your yellow is fairly smaller than the naso you want to add I think it would be plausible. |

| According to my refer. book it says;
"Will graze on macroalgae, but is safe with most inverts. Rare individuals may nip at large-polyped corals". | You will love the Naso. I have a Blonde Naso and it is the best fish I have. The thing will eat out of my hands and follow me all around the tank. Since the new tang is larger then the yellow it should be ok. I would make sure you see it eat at the store before you bring it home.
Plus if it was me I would get rid of the yellow tang. Way too mean of a fish for my taste. _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)

| Once acclimated into the tank and settled they are great fish and the yellow won't mess with it well maybe once but Tangs are not that hard to settle in they will sort the pecking order out.. I have 4 or 5 tangs now in a 180 the killer Powder blue Sail fin Convict hippo and one other I can't recall now .. They all chase and flap but after a bit they all got right with each othe. They had little choice .. _________ Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible (Doug Larson) |

| I have a Naso Tang in my 125 with a Yellow Tang. Initially, the Yellow Tang would try to bully him for a day tops, then that is it. They now coexist in harmony and the Naso doesn't harm any of my fish, inverts or corals!
Very nice fish!
