|  Mystery healing, constipation or egg bearer?
Ok, this is an odd one. This morning, my fiji devil looked incredibly bloated. The entire area between the gills and the anal fin (underside) looked terribly swollen, however, there was no sign of the scales beginning to lift up. So, I dragged an old 10gal out of the garage, washed it out and went to the LFS for some saltwater and to consider some medicine, quite convinced that it was the early stages of dropsy. Much to my surprise, when I went to feed the fish this evening, the fiji devil looks completely normal! I do have several varieties of damsels (humbugs, chromis and percula) but the fiji is the only one of it's kind in the tank. Could it have been an attempt to spawn, severe need to make a movement (if you know what I mean) or really bad gas? I'm stumped. Happy, but stumped. [smiley=confused1.gif]

Gas I guess, thats denitlhy not part of the spawning behavour. I guess just be happy it ok, but still do your water change just in case,
