| Re: My yellow striped maroon clownfish hottielover14 I just want to mention to you that Flame scallops are kind of hard to keep it requires floating micro-plankton to be kept alive.
Here is a link that may be of some help http://centralpets.com/pages/critter.../SWI1825.shtml |

| Re: My yellow striped maroon clownfish Hottielover14 I agree with Birdlady that is an offal lot of critters to add over a weeks time. I do have another Question did you quarantine the fish before adding them to your display tank? As your blue tang is very prone to ick and by adding all those critters over a weeks time you have created quite a stressful environment for them. Keep a close eye on your ammonia levels and a close eye out for ick. Also I do believe that you have doomed your flame scallop as they can not tolerate ammonia or nitrates.
Good luck ............................... John |

One fish every 3 to 4 weeks is necessary for your tank to properly balance. *Rememvber the mantra here at 3reef, "Go slow and let it grow!", and that includes the denitrifying bacteria. *Your Blue tang will need a minimum of a 75 gallon tank eventually. * _________ Just tryin to recreate God's perfection in a glass bowl. 20 Gallon Reef W/Live Rock, mated pair of Maroon Clowns, Softies, 110 watts PC 10,000k lighting, and skimmer. http://www.3reef.com/uploads/1craig400.jpg |

| Re: My yellow striped maroon clownfish i just bought a elegent coral yesterday. i tested my ammonia and nitrate and it is 0. How long can flame scallops go without feeding. I just ordered some but it wont be here until Thrus. I whiped the algae off the front wall to help him get some phytoplankton. Will that work temporarily. How far does an elegent corals sweeper tenticles stick out. Do clownfish love to live in the elegant coral like a anemone. It looks like one, kind of. |
