Default My tang was carrying eggs!

Last night, when I got home I noticed my Tang was no longer with a bulge, and was swimming around like before. I looked and saw nothing. About an hour later I saw a jelly like sack floating around. I went to get my incubation container to protect the eggs (just in case they did get fertilized), but within seconds all my fish devoured them. I am just happy that my Tang is looking well again, eating, swimming and changeing colours like before. Still regret not netting the eggs in time, I would have liked to see what might have happened.

hehe, he would have been a happy father if the other fish didn't help themselves to some caviar. You should have seen them go, it took about 3 seconds for the sac to disappear.

If you dont have 2 of those tangs, the chances of them being fertilized is 0%. Tangs release their eggs in open water in hopes the male will release his sperm right behind the female.
