My Percula Clown disappeared

Over the last 2 days since my elegant coral has died my clown was stressed and sad because he used it like an anemone. He was hovering at the bottom of my tank but i haven't seen him since Sat. He just disappeared but i'm pretty sure he's died. Can that happen to clowns that they get so stressed from the elegant coral dying that it dies.

If you can't find the clown in the tank.......start looking outside. Perc's can be jumpers at times. My galfriend has lost 2 this way. We put lighting egg crate over the tank top to keep the percs inside. Sorry if you had a loss.

could the stress from the elegant coral dying cause it to jump out. I will look.

um...hmm im not sure if that would cause it to commite suicide...if it did die do u have hermits or somthing that would have eaten it?

i have one red legged hermit. It acted stressed and nervous since i had to isolate my elegant coral because of it's disease but later it died. It was fine before that.

i looked and i couldn't see hime on the ground anywhere. I don't get it. He just disappeared.

Same thing happened to my lawnmower blenny HL14 but I wanted to get him out of my tank anyway so that worked out well [smiley=hehe.gif] I just wish I knew were he went [smiley=yaknow.gif]......... John

I had the same thing happen to my purple firefish in my last tank... never did find it and it didnt jump out.
