My firefish is DEAD!

i just now decided to start rearanging my rock to make it look better, as soon as i lifted one off there was my beautiful helfrichi firefish with half of his body missing!

WTF is eating all of my fish all of a sudden! i am seriously thinking now that the popping noised that i heard for a few nights is a mantis, i didnt hear it the past two nights but something is seriously eating my fish!

That sucks PC, I would start pulling everything out to see what is going in under the rocks.

yea i dont get it! in 7 months i had not one issue! now as soon as i added those chromis fish are dying fast!

yea it was more like 3/4 of it eaten but i dont know why all of a sudden the mantis is causing problems thats the only thing i could think of!

It could be that the mantis final got large enought so that he can grab the fish

Sorry for your loss. Sounds like a mantis if it was cut in half. try to make a mantis trap and see what you can catch or see.
