Ok got this thread idea from another thread reporting a pair of Clowns selling for 6k... what is the most you have ever spent on a fish? And perhaps more interestingly what was the fate of that fish (how long did it live, was it worth it, ect.)
I'll start... my most expensive so far was $45 for a medium Foxface. I know it isn't much but that is my most expensive... so what's your story??

    ;DJust for fun!!;D

I spent 55 bucs on a juvenile blue hippo tang, I'm talking about a inch and a half in size.. I was going to put it in my 12 gallon nano cube.. I was new and it was a big mistake... The fish became lunch for a serpent star within 12 hours.. In at 9pm dead at 7am...

$50 for a pinkbar goby. It paired up with our pistol shrimp, then one week later jumped out behind the tank and died. Good story, eh? :D

Seems pretty typical. The more expensive the fish and the more you like it, the probability that it will die increases greatly!!!

Is whoever voted $200+ gonna chime in?;D
