Good luck dude.

Even the most seasoned hobbyists shy away from a moorish idol. They are gorgeous fish but a SOB to keep alive!

Keep us posted.

Sadly I will confess to trying one guys' It was when i first started out and
I'd seen it at the LFS,
So i took it home , tried and it died.. would not eat at all, I have NO CLUE as to what it will eat or what it's dietary needs are cept to say it's one magnificent fish,
sadly i dont know if any one has been able to .
Maybe when more is known about what it's needs are and some research ,

I would not try it Nemo ' i'd rather leave them be in the ocean where they belong.
it's "an impossible fish" .,

well mission ' when i did try it i'd see it nip at the "elegance coral"
but like i said it' didint live like 3 weeks for me ,
and would NOT touch any thing i had offered it as far as frozen shrimp/rottifers/sea weed, nothing.

Well nemo, you certainly do seem to like to challenge yourself. Please do the fish a favor and give it away to somebody who has a proper set up for it and who is able to provide for it properly. The fish needs alot of swimming room (125 gallons or more). Also, it will pick at corals and other sessile invertibrates so if you're lucky enough to get it to eat at all, you will most likely lose your corals. Have a read here and please reconsider:

Probably worst thing about movie "Finding Nemo" - giving people idea that this fish can be kept in captivity and generating demand for them.
