| Is it me or do Clown Fish Have OCD. HI,
Well I know mine are using feather dusters for anemones, one hugs a sponge,The bigest clarki will not share his LTA, so the rest are making do with soft corals and even prettending that sand is a anemone.
Geeze they can't control that urge .
One of my larger CLarki is in love with a angel...
Maybe its the food..

| I dunno but I'm about fed up with my damn clown. He doesn't even have an anemone but he acts like he owns the place and freaking attacks me whenever my hand goes in the tank!! I've NEVER had a clown be so damn aggressive! It's not like he's a maroon or anything (known for being more temperamental), he's just a little Ocellaris.
I think I'll be getting rid of him when I can. It doesn't hurt when he goes after me but it freaking scares me every time. _________ 125 Gal Reef. | Back to original question, do clowns have OCD?
No question my percs have it. Will find one spot in tank...other then anemone and just wiggle like it is sitting in one. Female (like most) - will stay in one place and admire reflection in glass for hours.
Wish my maroon would attack my hand when in tank when I am expecting it. She, for a while now, will leap out of water to bite me, causing all kinds of minor mayhem in my surprise. dropping things, hitting head on canopy door, leaving fish food and water spread all over floor in front of tank. _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)

| I once stated that clownfish were the autistic fish of the reef and should come with little helmets to protect their heads. I was pounced on for it. There is a distinction: People with autism-not funny; Clownfish with autism- mildly amusing. I have one of those cheap algae clips shaped like a clownfish. Mine used to attack it. |

| They talk or chrip with their teeth HI,
I was reading a article in scientific american that clown fish actually use their teeth to make sounds , it can be a warning to stay away or even more complex forms of communication, they may be a little deeper than we realize.
