If you have two and one is larger than the other the bigger one is most likely a female.
If they are both the same size wait it will happen (kind of like build it, they will come ).
As one becomes more dominate it will grow and change into a female.

As far as pairing thats best left up to the clown fish! All we can do is try and point them in
the right direction, buy doing things like putting them in the same tank. leaving them
alone in the same tank (no tank mates). once again. wait and it will most likely happen.

If you want more information go to the Marine Ornamental Fish & Invertebrate Breeders or
MOFIB site. There is alot of information on this site,

Most likely it will get the CRAP beat out of it. better to buy a large one and introduce it. Or another way to do it is to bring total chaos to to the tank. move things around. if clowns are hosting something move it to another location.

I have a GS Maroon that is hosting in my frog spawn. if I am introducing another fish, I move his frog spawn and he freaks out and completely forgets the other fish long enough for the other to stake out his or her space in the tank.

Best chance for ready pair is add two about the same size at same time.

If you already have one, add a smaller. May or may not survive initial "mating fracas" - and will take more then one try.
