Not sure about reef safe, but here is my story, I had a lunar wrasse way back when in my 40 breeder... loved that fish.. but he ripped the jaw off my coral beauty.. it was hardcore.. so buyer beware!

yikes that sounds frustraiting....... well mine is nibbling alittle i noticed and i was wondering if there is anything that i could do to stop his nibbles.........

its not the mexican its the red sea cleaner wrasse. it has two blue lateral lines on both sides on a black base. only like 5-6 inches long max. i dont know the sci. but ill get it for you.

So this was ment to rad Red Sea cleaner wrasse? There may be a mexican cleaner wrasee, but it's not on any permit for collections. It would have to survive on Porites sp, if it ate SPS.

Is this the fish? If it is, don't plan on keeping any sps corals. I learned about their feeding habits as adults the hard way
