| Lost a Fish Today... Found my Banggai Cardinal - DOA today in NanoCube
Hermits were having a big lunch.
Can only attribute loss due to insufficent space for him in 12 gallon along with the two clowns. --- The two cleaner shrimp also seemed to give this quite shy fish a hard time.
Moral...not a good fish for a Nano with any other kind of active species. (Pterapogon kauderni) (Added to 12 Gal NanoCube - 7 October 2007) _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)
12 Gallon NanoCube - 24w stock PC 50/50 light "...nothing good ever happens fast in a reef tank, only bad things happen fast..."

Best way to get over "fish loss blues"....
Just returned from LFS and a blue neon goby (cleaner) followed me home.
Should do well in Nano....and after couple of months may move him over to main tank.
Neat little inexpensive fish... (I feel sooo much better...) Neon Blue Goby (Added to NanoCube 12 November 2007) (Elacatinus oceanops) (Dr. Jungles, Animal World)
"...Though a small fish, the Neon Goby or Blue Neon Goby always catches the eye with its vibrant contrasting colors!..."
Has already made a big hit with family!!! --- Fun little guy to watch... |
