My hubby just got this fish for his 20g, will he be ok in this size of tank, there isn't alot of algae in there, what can I feed him. So far when I feed he hasn't come out to eat, he just hides in his rock home?

When it wants to eat it should be fed veg flake with high levels of speralina.
but they will likely spend most of the time picking at rocks and the glass for algae

Keep an eye on him and you may find thet he's kissing the glass all over the tank (eating algae off the glass). You can also try clipping nori to the inside glass but I think that if you watch, you'll find him munching at the rock and the glass.

Great addon to any tank. These guys are a blast and you will find they are always watching you when you are in the room.
