If u try another one i have a tip for yah. Before u put him in the tank get a clam shell and bury it in the sand, dig it out like he would and after hes acclimated put him in the net and cover it with your hand. Guide the net to the front of the clam and put him in there. I did that with my last one, stayed in the clam for 3 days now has multiple burrows thru out the tank...been in there for about 2 months. No lid, and with kids that pass the tank all day long. Thought maybe it might work for yah. Good luck
