| Place a piece of broccoli in the tank every day so that the tangs and FF have something to nip on all the time. I put one in every day and it is gone the next night all the way down to the clip that is holding it.
Once you put it in give them a while to figure out what it is. My Hippo was nipping on my sps's and was about to go back to the FS when Roger told me to just put one piece of broccoli in everyday and he will be fine. Since I have started this nothing has gotten nipped at. _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)

| My foxface is getting evicted back to the store when I get my new tank...along with my yellow tang. Those 2 are just beautiful fish in my tank, and they are buddies. Swim together, eat corals together, attack any new fish that I might put in together...... They even nestle in the same rock together. But cant have them eating the polyps and killing new fish anymore. They were fairly small when I got them, but now they have gotten fairly large over time. I keep seaweed, romaine lettuce and they nip on it all day. Could not get them to do the brocolli. But I figured that when I go to transfer fish over, it would be a good time to find them a new home. The other fish I am thinking about getting rid of is the blue hippo (dont want to have him stress and get ick...still thinking about that one though...I love Dora)
It is sad though.....my nieces and nephew all have certain fish that they own in my tank and ask me about everytime I see them. The yellow tang (Lemonpeel) is my one nieces, foxface (Shockey) is my youngest nieces, and Blue tang (Dora) is nephews. They all also owned a horeshoe crab that died and I replaced and lived for a short time...they think is still alive I just have not seen it...will miracously reappear when I move into new tank and go back into hidding until sandbed matures then will actually buy bigger one so they can see it. But they are all going to lose their fish.....:{ But they can go buy new ones when things cycle. But they are still not happy. My one niece wants me to put my yellow tang in my 6 gallon...so that I can keep it and it not kill anything else! |

Im thinking of a smaller fish that would be less of a bio load than the FF. The only Angels that I like are in heaven!! | Quote:
