| Sessile inverts that are not coral.
I wouldn't say that they are reef safe because they have such a huge bioload. Not to mention you wouldn't be able to have any type of cleanup crew. Large predator fish never work out well in reefs. The fish will get big and start messing stuff up just due to its size. You could do it. But really why would you? Why would you put yourself through a PITA like that?

| To make it simple enough for me to understand it goes like this..... If it moves, and is smaller than the Humu's head.... it must be food.

| I know this post is kinda old but do you mean fiddler crabs? Will they eat it before it dies from the salt? I have a humu and I have a shrimp and hermit crab and they hid all the time so I only see them pop out of the live rock, and he hasn't eaten them yet but then again I just got him last week. |

| between me and my friend, we've had every type of trigger you can think of, as it turns out, our (both of us) biggest bullys are our nigers and picasso's (huma) they get really mean and almost turn into more of a pain than any other trigger in my experience.

| Thats weird because I have been told that the humu is the nicest trigger. I hate being misinformed! So far he is only mean at dinner time. He hides most of the time and the first time me and my boyfriend left him we came home and we thought he was dead! Turns out he was just sleeping. |
