He is in another tank all by himself for the time being.

I like hawkfish but I like my shrimp better If the fish is that aggressive, I wouldn't try to put anything in the tank with it and it will be just fine by itself.

Hi again, Amcarrig...That is what we are thinking we just set him up in a tank by himself. It is a great fish with a lot of personality and we did not want to get rid of it...

I set up a nano just to house two perc clowns that could not compete/survive in my main tank and I also did not want to get rid of them. Was a fun exercise and now I enjoy it just as much.
I enjoy the attention it needs, as the main tank requires so little. (helps fulfill my reef-keeping "urges" - and keeps at bay, the continuous desire of moving up to a larger tank. ) My Nano _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)

If you got it from a LFS ? see if they will trade you for a long nose hawk its pretty shrimp safe (: and it acts just as all Hawks do. Set's and looks ( either swimming like crazy or falling like a rock (: _________ Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible (Doug Larson)
