| Hawkfish are cool, but they like to eat shrimp. Plus they like to run a round so the 14g will probably be to small. You mite try a small goby, or a tang, . _________ 15 Gallon Nano, Current USA 80 watt PC Light, Pengiun HOB Refug, Pair of clowns one ocellaris and one purcula!

| Orangespotted Filefish...and no they aren't reef safe, so unless you want to feed this fish stony coral polyps, it will starve in captivity! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F. | You say tomato he said tomoto Its one in the same thats the problem with common names there are always more then one depending on region you live in. But either name means its a Oxymonacanthus longirostris and as also mentioned not a good reef fish for the tank.. Some much for redundancy (: _________ Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible (Doug Larson) |

| :'( That is one of the coolest looking fish ive seen in awhile. Hmmmm, stony polyps you say? I was only planning on keeping shrooms + hammer + torch + frogspawn + Toxic Spill Micro zoos from DLC... how fast do you think they'll eat a colony (assuming its SPS not LPS)? And will this fish have problems with small shrimp (sexy / thor)?
edit - somebody needs to tell salifert to get that pic off the box...it makes newbies want one !
edit 2 - marinecenter.com says try frozen herbivore foods, if i'm willing to spend as much time (and $) as needed to feed this guy, do you think he'll have a chance in a 14g? <-- only other fish will be a randall's goby
edit 3 - Will they eat zoos? My LFS said that he has had one before and it would eat any type of polyp. I wont blame anybody if i get it (obviously) but wanna know what to stay away from coral-wise (that i want to keep)
TY if you read that whole mess ^
