Default Has anyone seen a clown this color

hey guys,
i have this false clown that i bought about a month ago. it is doing great, the most aggresive eating fish ive ever seen. but anyway, it was sold to me as a tank breed false ocellaris clown. but is seems to be darker than any ive ever seen. it has nice color along the fins, and nice black lines seperating the orange from the white, but the orange is really dark. i thought that it mite be a black ocellaris, but it just dosent look like one at that size(not enought black). i guess i just have a really cool clown. thanks for looking

There is quite a bit of variance with most types of clowns with the shading. That certainly is a beauty!! It looks like a bit of tail is missing from that lil dude. Perhaps its just the image

EDIT: Oh yes, it's a False Percula, also know as an ocellaris.

Yup, the tank breed clowns usually have different colorings. Pretty cool though.

thanks for the replys guys. as to the tail missing, its just the picture, the clown is in perfect shape. the only fish i have are the two pictured, and they get along most the time. i with i could find another clown like this, and mybe breed them. it would be interesting to see what the fry would look like.

It is a false. To be honest, false percs have a varying shade of orange. I've seen plenty. Mine are bright, bright orange with very bright white. I like'm.
