I have a Chevron Tang that does the trick for me! (similar type of tang as the Kole) He also keeps the sand clean...his diet consists of algae and diatoms!!! As well as being a total hog with the mysis shrimp and other stuff
Altho, I only have a 58 gallon tank and that is borderline , sizewise for my tang....

I heard the Kole tank is the king of hair algae. I have an algae blenny that was mean for the first few days untill he establish a territory.

Not to hijack but I have a corner 100 gal that I have avoided puting a tang in because of space. What do you guys and gals think about that. I was considering a hippo, chevron, kole, or Yellow. Just one not all.

Hippo. cute and lively.

I retired the reef for now. Maybe a nano or a softies tank in the future when I have both time and money. 60 gallon FOWLR in the meantime. My echidna nebulosa are still going strong!
